How TO Create Complete Android Backup - Without Root
It is always recommended to take a full backup of your Android device data before proceeding with installing a Custom ROM, Rooting, or Applying a hack. BTW, I recommend Nandroid for Backups because it makes the overall procedure very simple, but for using it your device should be rooted.

Let's check out how we can backup the device without rooting the device.

1. Backup Contacts - Contacts of your device automatically get synced when you connect your Gmail account to your mobile phone. To take backup of Call Logs use CallTrack which makes entries of your call logs in Google Calendar.

2. System Settings - No need to take backup of this either since the settings are also synced when we connect the GMail account.

3. Backup Android Apps - Use Astro File Manager to Backup the files stored on your device, it is pretty handy. But again this app doesn't have the ability to backup Application data, as it required root access.

4. Backup WhatsApp Messages - This is the easiest thing one could do. Just heading to Settings > chat settings > backup conversation and this will create a .xml file having your conversation which will be exported to the SD Card. You can also email by selecting the email conversation option.

Backup ROM file - You can backup the ROM file using Nandroid Backup App only, other tutorial that is coming up will tell you how you can backup the data stored on your device.

Post your comments below, let me know if this helped you in taking backup of your data.
